Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Talents, MamaBear, and Chief of Staff mobile applications (the “Apps”) and the stewardapps.ai website (the “Site”), provided by Steward Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Apps or Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Apps. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Apps. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of the Apps require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and managed by Apple's payment infrastructure. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Subscriptions.

Free features are available without a subscription. We reserve the right to change pricing and feature availability with reasonable notice.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Apps, including prayer requests, journal entries, notes, messages, and other user-generated content. By using the Apps, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Apps to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

5. AI Features

The Apps include AI-powered features that generate responses based on your input, preferences, and tradition. AI-generated content is provided for informational and devotional purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional theological counsel, pastoral guidance, medical advice, or any other professional service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or theological correctness of AI-generated content. You use AI features at your own discretion.

6. Bible Translations

The Apps include multiple Bible translations. Public domain translations (KJV, ASV, WEB, Darby, Geneva, YLT, BBE, Douay-Rheims) are used under public domain rights. The New Standard Version (NSV) is a modern English translation created by Steward Apps using AI assistance, cross-referenced against original language scholarship. The NSV is not endorsed by any denominational body or translation committee. It is provided as a reading aid alongside established translations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Apps for any unlawful purpose
• Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages through encrypted messaging
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Apps
• Interfere with or disrupt the Apps or their infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
• Use the Apps to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content

8. Intellectual Property

The Apps, including their design, code, features, and original content (excluding user-generated content and public domain Bible translations), are the property of Steward Apps and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Apps without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEWARD APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Apps ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Apps shall be resolved in the courts of South Carolina.
